Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 11, 2026 — The Digital Transformation Unit (DTU) officially commenced its stakeholder educational awareness sessions on Monday, May 11, 2026, as part of the continued national public engagement and education campaign surrounding digital transformation and the upcoming introduction of the national electronic identification system (e-ID).
The sessions are being conducted with key stakeholders across both the public and private sectors, including government departments, statutory bodies, financial institutions, healthcare providers, utilities, educational institutions, business organizations, and community groups.
These awareness sessions are designed to help stakeholders better understand the role of digital transformation in St. Kitts and Nevis and how initiatives such as e-ID will support a more efficient, secure, and connected way of accessing services.
The meetings also provide an opportunity for organizations to engage directly with the DTU, ask questions, and gain insight into how digital identity and modern digital systems can improve service delivery, reduce repetitive processes, strengthen security, and create a more seamless experience for citizens and businesses.
As the Federation continues building a future-ready digital ecosystem, stakeholder engagement remains a critical part of ensuring awareness, trust, and national readiness for upcoming digital initiatives.
The Digital Transformation Unit is encouraging businesses, organizations, institutions, and community groups interested in learning more about digital transformation and e-ID to contact the Unit to arrange stakeholder awareness sessions.
This ongoing engagement forms part of the Government’s broader vision of creating a modern, accessible, and secure digital environment that improves how people live, work, and access services across St. Kitts and Nevis.
